We were very impressed with Steve, the Repairman that came out. He was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing. The only thing he had to wait awhile for another employee to come out to lift the garage door open which is included in the rate.

Friday night arrived and we ended up with a very badly damaged garage door. Saturday morning call to Precision Garage Door (PGD) and a very pleasant customer service representative (a live person) actually listened to my concerns and scheduled the first available technician to my home on Monday. Because I wanted to be certain that I did, in fact, talk to a live person Saturday, I called PGD on Sunday morning and found another pleasant customer service representative who checked her computer and confirmed the appointment! Keep in mind that there were freezing rain, snow, and ice storms predicted for Saturday night into Sunday morning, and other storms predicted throughout this week, so I was very concerned about getting that garage door closed. On Monday morning, Ryan, their technician called me to say he was on his way. When Ryan arrived, he assessed the damage and discussed his plan with me about making the temporary repairs to safely get the garage door closed. Another technician showed up to help him. Both technicians were very polite and immediately took care of business for me. In my opinion they were true professionals, compassionate about my concerns and experts at what they do. I believe the employees of PGD exemplified what customer service and satisfaction should look like! Before this happened to me, I watched some of those PGD television commercials about those green and white PGD trucks showing up with those friendly technicians to help the owner regardless of how small or large the damage/issue may be. I can tell you that I made that call and found that commercial to be true and accurate for me.

We had new garage doors and openers installed by Precision 4 years ago, but never activated the WiFi feature. We finally wanted to use the WiFi, but couldn’t figure out how to get it working. I used the online chat option on your website, and was offered to have a technician come out within 2 hours to do this for me. 5 minutes later, I received a call from Dante that he could be at my house in 20 minutes. Wow - super fast service! He arrived, found the proper app for me to use to activate the WiFi, and in minutes everything was working. He also did a quick tune-up with the doors to assure everything was working and aligned properly. And, he was a very nice young man! Overall, an excellent experience! Thank you!!!

The name “Overhead Door” has a national reputation for excellence. I googled to find one near York Pa. Then I went to your website. While my repairs were not an emergency, the statement same day service attracted further interest. When I called and was told a technician could be here within a couple of hours I agreed. Serviceman Henry was exceptional communicating my doors issue’s and proposed 3 solutions for me to choose from. The quality of the work Henry did proved to be extraordinary. The speed at which he worked impressive. This young man was at all times courteous, professional and friendly. When he departed I found myself thinking:”That young man is going places.” Martin A. My initial call was for a "tune up" of the existing (but very old) garage door opener. The technician (Henry) was prompt and explained what was going on with my ancient opener. He offered and explained several solutions (quick fixes up to replacement) - I opted for a new opener system since mine was from 1993! He also called in backup help to expedite the process and was done in about 2 hours arrival to departure. Very good & friendly company that I highly recommend!

Garage door spring broke yesterday morning as I was leaving for work @7:15am. Frantically searched the internet, found great reviews online for Precision, and now we know why. Easily made the appointment online, called to confirm and to ask about payment options, received text confirmation of appointment, our assigned technician (Nia Bennett) texted me that he was enroute, he arrived on time, performed a safety inspection, presented us with three proposals, thoroughly explained the options via a phone call, performed the service / install, and was finished before noon. (Completed-work Invoice was emailed @11:19am) Wow! Hoping the price was competitive since we didn't really have time to get other quotes, but considering the top-notch service, it was worth it. We now have an updated garage door including new springs and a quiet opener that is guaranteed for many years to work for us. We highly recommend this company and our technician too. I could have installed a new opener myself on the weekend, but now I will have more free time to spend with the grand kiddos!

Fantastic service,We called the office at 10:30 AM Nick answered our call and told us he had Justin in the area. We set up a time of 2- 4 PM for the repairs . Justin called at 1:40 and told us he was 20 minutes away. He inspected the door and gave us several options for the repairs needed. Justin was very courteous and helpful. Justin completed the repairs in a very clean and timely manner. We are very satisfied and will recommend Precision Door to folks in the future .

I was able to book online next day service for our noisy garage door. Adam arrived on time and was great to work with. He suggested that we switch out our chain driven opener for a belt driven opener. He also recommended some new roller hardware and springs. The end result was very impressive...basically a silent garage door. Better than I imagined. I'm very happy with the service.

To begin, there was excellent communication prior to the actual delivery of repair services. I wish to recognize Salena (?) with whom I corresponded via the online chat system. Salena provided me with excellent preliminary information and then promptly scheduled the service call. Later that day, Kenny called to indicate that he could arrive earlier than scheduled if that suited me... it did. Kenny arrived approximately one hour ahead of the original schedule and was courteous and professional from the beginning. He began by completing a safety check in which he identified frayed cables. I did not jump at the opportunity to replace those cables. It was important to me that Kenny described the problem but did not over-sell the need to replace them (he did point out the safety concern). After a few minutes of independent thought, I returned to garage and asked Kenny to add the cable replacement to the service call. Kenny installed two new springs and new cables in a short period of time. He also reset the limits on my garage door opener. When he notified me that the work was done, everything was working just as it should! I am very impressed with Kenny's skill and efficiency and perhaps even more impressed with his facts-only, low pressure sales approach regarding the cables. I could not be happier with the result of just one phone call and one very efficient and effective service call. Nice work!
