Jerry is known for his friendly demeanor and wealth of knowledge concerning garage doors, so it is no surprise that he has been with PDS since the very opening of the company. However, his experience stems back five years before becoming a technician with PDS. Prior, he had been an auto technician at Chrysler for five years. Providing quality work and customer service has been a large part of his life for years. He states himself, “I like turning someone else’s miserable day into a positive one by using my skills and experience to problem solve.” Jerry is thankful to have the support of his wife Katelyn and dear daughter Everleigh, son Elijah, as well as his four dogs and five cats at home! When he is not at work he is enjoying his family and investing in his community by playing for his church softball team. Which I greatly appreciated. He was friendly & professional as he inspected the job and explained his findings. We called Precision Garage Door Service early on a Monday morning because our very old garage door had finally stopped working, just as we had to leave on a trip to Vermont. We were happily surprised that they could send an employee, Jerry Edlreth, to look over the situation in just a few hours! Soon after Jerry arrived, he sent us photographs and began explaining to us what went wrong and what he could do to fix it. He carefully explained the various options we had, and when we made our decision, he spent the next several hours doing exactly what we wanted. He was very kind, friendly, and professional throughout the day--even though our garage is not air conditioned and the temperature was near 100 degrees! We highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service.

When our 20 year old garage door opener suddenly stopped working, I contacted Precision Garage Door. Their online appointment booking could not have been easier, and I had a late morning appointment that same day! Jerry, our technician, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He showed how the motor was completely burned out and explained why. He installed a new motor, keypad, wall switch, and rollers, and we received 2 remotes- we were up & running in less than 2 hours. Jerry explained how to program the keypad and even programmed my car’s Homelink. We were very happy with his service and would not hesitate to recommend Precision Garage to friends & neighbors

I was very pleasantly surprised with the attention to my situation without even being assured that I would use your company due to having a warranty on my home. However, Steven was attentive to my explanation, and sent a technician out to check on the needed repair. Jerry, the technician, was professional, experienced and explained everything completely. He wound up doing the job in slightly less than an hour even though he had spent twice that amount of time to describe the repair, the options and helped me discuss it with the warranty company. Estimate process was wonderful. The technician Jerry was very knowledgeable and wasn’t pushy towards a new units and offered some repair options to our installed unit. Selected Precision because three years ago, they provided excellent service when my daughter's garage door failed. Due to the repair and replacement of her door, as well as the extreme silence of the opener, we requested that our 20-year-old opener be replaced.
