I was very pleased with the service that Precision Door did for us. I called the day after Christmas around 8:30 am, and a tech was at our home by 10:00 am. The tech, Chad, called and said when he was on his way. Chad was very professional. He asked some questions about our door, explained what work would be done and went over the estimate of cost. Upon approval, Chad completed the job of replacing the door spring. Chad was such a pleasure to work with through the entire process. I would highly recommend Chad and Precision Door.

We had a problem with both our garage door button and the remote in our car. The technician, Mr. Bennett ran through all possible scenarios and found that a wire had been crimped. Mr Bennett then ran a new wire and the problem was solved. We have used your company previously and again we are satisfied. Exceeded my expectations. I chose Precision because I was impressed by the website, and because it was an alternative to the local options available. The spring broke on our garage door on Friday evening, trapping our car for the weekend. I called another company and left a message and also on their website. I heard back this morning. In the meantime I found your website and was able to schedule an appointment for first thing today. I scheduled it and Josh showed up before 8:30 this morning. He was very knowledgeable and informed us of our options. We chose the more comprehensive service and are pleased with the work that Josh did. I will refer others to your company if they need work on their garage door.

Joshua called to let me know he would be a little late and then called again to let me know he was on his was and when he would arrive. He was very professional and friendly and explained what he was going to check. Then he told me how much each would cost and why he thought it necessary and gave me the option to decline. Excellent experience, I would recommend Precision Door Service to anyone. Getting a same day appointment was easy online. They provided me with a picture and name of the technician before arriving and called before arrival to make sure I was available. They went over my options and answered all of my questions. The technician was very friendly and professional. Billing was easy to understand and my receipt was emailed promptly.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! We just had a new garage door installed by Precision Garage Door. The installers pointed out to us that there was a large scratch of about 4-5” on the door. After looking closer, we found 41 scratches and or nicks, some quite large. I want a new door. Dan, their service guy wants to only “touch up” (41 different areas) the scratches with paint. Not acceptable whatsoever, and unfortunately, I’ve had to get a lawyer. I know no one that would be happy with a brand new door with 41 unacceptable scratches and nicks? Extremely poor customer service and backing of a product that they sold and installed. It’s a matter of principal now. I can not believe that I even have to fight for a new door that is defective in 41 areas.

HI Kirk, as Precision Door service is the highest rated company in quality of customer service and quality of work, we believe transparency is always important for our readers. From working with you, we may be able to fill in the gaps of your review for our readers to have better understanding of your experience working with us so far. On 7/17/24 you agreed to move forward with a door install that we quoted out for you. On 8/22/24 we came out to install this door, and as accurately mentioned in your review, our installers noticed and pointed out a pretty big scratch on the door from the manufacturer. It was agreed on this day that we would come back and touch it up. While we were waiting on the manufacture to send us touch up paint, you had called us and scheduled for us to come out on 8/28 to have a closer look at the door as more scratches were discovered. All in all we reported 41 scratches on the door, and the locations of these scratches point towards these scratches happening at the manufacturer. We contacted the manufacturer, and they confirmed the scratches most likely happened under their care, and not by our installers. Because no gashes or dents were discovered in this inspection, the manufacture communicated to us that their protocols first wants to touch up the door to see if the scratches are still noticeable to the human eye. We communicated this would not effect the limited lifetime warranty you have on the paint. It was then expressed to Dan that you had wanted a new door. Because we are following the manufacturers protocol, we first must touch up the door to see if this solves the scratches to the paint that were found. This was communicated by Dan our manager. You then said you wanted time to think about this, and speak to an attorney, and that you would reach back out to us. We told you we understood, and that we are going to move forward with getting the paint so we are not wasting any time. We have not heard from you since, This review you have left us is the first time we have heard from you since being at your home on 8/28. Which leaves us a bit confused. Here at Precision Door we have a reputation that we are committed to keeping. As of right now, we are following the manufacturers protocols on how they want to resolve their mistake. If touching up the door resolves the issue as it does 99% of the time. Our hope is that everyone will be happy. If you are still unsatisfied after we touch up the door. Then we can fight to get you panel replacements. But we will be following the manufacturers protocol, as we also will strive to make sure you are satisfied with the completed project. My Genie opener seized and quit working. I arranged for an apt online and confirmed by text msg. Installer called and asked to come early and I agreed. I needed my springs replaced and a new precision opener installed. In less that two hours job was complete with a code box outside and a wall mount in the garage. Quiet, smooth operation, and fast open and close. I made the right choice and highly recommend Precision. An extra bonus is the great warranty.

I had a quick response to get an appointment. My nephew referred me to you as a low cost good garage door company. He also had 1960 door. He had a low cost. I was given $1500 plus for 4 new straps.. The two straps were not needed but the finished job needed afew wheels and the job cost me $1500 plus anyway.. My nephew paid $400/ Joshua did good. I had to do WD40 to get a smooth roll, He informed me what he was doing well prompt and pleasant. Price too high
