I called Precision on the weekend because they were the only ones open and I wanted a Monday appointment. The service tech arrived at the scheduled time and after looking over the situation (the cable had come off the pully) he said he would perform a 25 point inspection and the give me the options for repair. A red flag immediately went up in my mind but I said ok. After the inspection he quoted me 3 options ranging from $700 to $2100+. I told him I would like to get a second opinion. I called a local company who came by, reinstalled the cable, adjusted the tension on the overhead spring, lubed the spring and wheels in the track and thanked me for the business. $146. He did not try to sell me a bunch of replacement parts and labor I did not need. I will not be refering your company to any friends or family.

5 STARS to Precision Garage Door Service. It was clear they exemplified the saying… “people don’t care how much you know…until they know…how much you care.”. It all started with Steven, who answered the phone first thing in the morning. He worked relentlessly to find an opening for a technician to come to our house that same morning and replace a non-functional 40-year-old garage door opener. Jerry showed up within an hour and is a first-class professional technician who exhibited a passion for doing a job he loves with excellence. Our new very quiet garage door opener, complete with new rollers, was fully operation before 1 o’clock. Obviously, I highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service of Central PA. Ron Chubb

Josh fixed broken spring on my garage door and also brought to my attention other problems and solutions that would add longevity and better function of the garage door. Josh was very respectful and knowledgeable. He not only explained the parts he replaced and fixed but showed me. Glad he was the person that your company sent to correct my garage door problem!

Precision Garage Door is the best!!! Our garage door spring broke on New Years Eve around 10am with a big bang noise. It took us until 11:15am to figure out it was the garage door. We called Precision directly and our technician, Steve D., was at the our house by Noon. Steve determined the issues, made recommendations, and completed the repairs by 1:30pm. He thoroughly explained the issues and how to properly maintain moving forward. We have used Precision at previous houses and always found them to deliver the highest quality service. This experience was know different. Great job Precision and Steve. Job well done!

Had an overhead spring break on my garage door before Christmas. I was able to schedule an appointment the following Monday. Date of repair, technician Tyler called me to say he was on the way. When he arrived I explained what happened and he quickly went to work inspecting the broken parts and looked over everything. He gave me options for the repair and wasn’t pushing which one to choose, but recommended other parts should be replaced soon. Even explained where to lube parts to last longer. During installation of new parts, he made small talk with myself and little boy. Inspection and installation was also pretty quick. When my other garage door decides to break, I’ll definitely be scheduling another appointment with Tyler or this company.

Very helpful. Was honest about door and opener condition. The circuit board in the opener was damaged due to heat spark, so decision made to replace entire opener and accessories. The new system works great and is an upgrade over what we had in place. Time to replace. The tech checked all other parts of the door assembly and balanced the door, lubricated rollers and springs. It is quiet and works well. Hope new stuff under warranty. Thanks.

Fantastic response to my broken door spring. The technician was the nicest and most knowledgeable repair person I’ve ever had come to my house (including plumbers, electricians, hvac)! He showed up right on time and fixed the problem in no time. I never had a problem with the garage doors before but I will definitely call Precision Door again if I ever have another issue with them! Service tech: Chad Far exceeded expectations. Provided a comprehensive evaluation of the opener and components, and thoughtfully outlined the required repairs versus replacement options, providing clear, honest, and unbiased guidance. Chad took his time to explain to my wife while she spoke to me on the phone to confirm which option we decided on. Chad and his training associate were kind, patient, and always professional throughout the job per my wife. When I got home, I was extremely satisfied with the quality of work performed and the function of the new equipment. Highly recommend to anyone needing their expertise and have already recommended them to my mom.
