I was impressed with Eddie and Kevin's professionalism and ability to diagnose the problem with our garage door opener. They gave us three options from which to choose, but ultimately we found a good deal on a new Craftsman opener at the local Sears and went with that. In spite of the fact that we didn't ultimately use Precision to purchase or install a new opener, they were very nice about it. Eddie gave us his card in case we need to call them again, which we certainly will should the need arise.

I needed someone to fix my door on a last minute notice. As I was looking online I came across Precision Door and saw they had service 24/7. I was ecstatic to find out they could help me on the same day! Jerry was our service technician and he was at our house within a few hours from when I called. Our garage door broke at 4:30 PM on a Wednesday. I was able to call and schedule an appointment with a service tech for the very next morning. Eddie showed up right on time and was super friendly and polite. He did a complete inspection of our door, explained all the issues and then gave us three repair options. Expecting to have to go a few days with the door not working, we were blown away when Eddie told us he could install a new motor and replace the other necessary parts during this same visit as all the required parts were already in his truck. He did so and we had a workable garage door by noon. The door is now quiet and works so much better.

I cannot say enough good things about Eddie Hesling. I originally just wanted to replace the backup battery in my Craftsman opener. However, I also pointed out to Eddie that the door was rattling, and while he was here the opener made a horrible grinding noise while opening. Eddie assured me that part of his job was to inspect the entire system. After he did, he showed me that the spring had been installed incorrectly last fall (by another company) and that the motor gears on my 5-year old opener were grinding. He gave me several options to choose from, but I elected to replace the entire opener and spring with some new parts on the door itself. I truly didn't realize how bad my door opener was until Eddie finished the install today. It is so quiet and smooth running. I am so pleased and feel confident that I have found an excellent company with incredible service and I will contract with them for additional work in the future. And by the way, Eddie is a lovely young man and really knows what he is about.

Jerry Eldreth diagnosed the trouble with my 17yr old garage door. It was limping along after all those years without service. In a matter of a few hours, Jerry installed a new motor and converted the drive from chain to belt with a tension coil operating system. Great company, the service was prompt, and Chad the technician was excellent. He gave me 3 options after inspecting the door. I chose option #2, which consisted of replacing the springs and adding a safety cable to each, replacing the spring pully on both, and replacing the cables and all rollers. Now I have a 25 year old garage door which should last at least another 10 years, providing that the motor stays in good shape. All in all, a good experience.

We had a problem getting a tech there at all or within the specified time. Once someone showed up we ended up getting a whole new motor, rollers etc. and keypad. Tech tried his best after being sent here unexpectedly and worked hard until 7.30 p.m., the original time frame was 12-2. Tech was very pleasant and knew his stuff.
