We called Precision Garage Door Service early on a Monday morning because our very old garage door had finally stopped working, just as we had to leave on a trip to Vermont. We were happily surprised that they could send an employee, Jerry Edlreth, to look over the situation in just a few hours! Soon after Jerry arrived, he sent us photographs and began explaining to us what went wrong and what he could do to fix it. He carefully explained the various options we had, and when we made our decision, he spent the next several hours doing exactly what we wanted. He was very kind, friendly, and professional throughout the day--even though our garage is not air conditioned and the temperature was near 100 degrees! I contacted Precision Door Service on a Saturday at around 12:30 and spoke with their contact person who was easy to understand and was able to get a technician to my home in about an hour. About 10 minutes after scheduling my service appointment the technician called me to inform me he was on his way. Kody was my technician and he arrived when he said he would. He introduced himself and told me what he was going to do. He was courteous and professional and gave me several options for the repair. I made my choice and he proceeded to do the service. I had 2 garage doors > 22years old. Needed to try and save some money, so technician replaced the openers but salvaged as much as possible to save some money. Was able to keep most hardware, but replaced all essential safety items. Was able to assess and install in one day, done by 6:00PM. Even with old parts and the original doors in place the new system is virtually SILENT. This morning my garage door opener developed a smoke condition when I went to closed the garage door. Made a computer appointment on Precision web site. The time frame that I picked and was confirmed. The technician contacted me. Josh Finkbeiner listened to what happened with the motor of the garage door opener. He gave me great customer service. A great job done and replaced the garage door opener, the door rollers, lubricated the hinges and the door springs. Kept his work area in a clean state at all times. He was well organized. When he was finished with the service and installation. He give me a in service on the operation of the new door opener, the remotes and new outdoor key pad. He answered my questions that I had. I wouldn't hesitate to call upon Precision Garage Door in the future for service or other garage door needs. A great company to deal with.
