He provided three(3) options and detailed each not only to me, but to my son in law via telephone. He worked steadily through a snow storm and within a garage with no heat!! Horrible experience! I felt like a highly trained sales person who also happens to know how to work on garage doors came to my house. The torsion spring broke and I just was looking for a good price and a good repair. The torsion spring lasted almost a decade which I’m fine with and we use it a lot so it’s not surprising after almost 10 years. We’re having an issue. Technician came out, evaluated the situation. Next thing I know I’m sitting at my morning room table with him across from me like I’m talking about refinancing my house and we’re going over these absorbent prices. One price just for repairs three times as expensive as what it should be. One price for repairs and for him to do some minor lubrication and now we’re up from $750 for the repair which another company did about an hour later $456. Then he’s giving me a second price which would include a whisper, quiet motor that’s belt driven. I bulk at the prices and say I’m not really comfortable with this and then the prices start to change and come down and we start going down from top of the line to builders grade and then he goes to his van to make a phone call to the powers that be quite frankly I felt like I was buying a new car and they’re pulling that let me speak to my manager shit. Bottom line my wife got fed up, walked out to the van and told him to keep driving. So I guess basically I would describe my experience as suspicious, unbelievably pricey, and like they never really had my best interest at him more interested in padding the bill. PS a lot of scare tactics were used, and as it turns out he was wrong on at least one of the tactics telling me that my builders grade tension spring was put in unprofessionally by someone that didn’t want to waste a few extra dollars on a metal ball bearing, and as it turns out after me doing research that same spring never came with a metal ball bearing it came with a plastic ball bearing. Always buy local! If you have somebody that you can trust in somebody that has a fair price then you’ve got everything!!

We chose Precision because of the high rating from other customers, and it paid off. Our garage doors are old, and we needed a maintenance check up on them. Our repairman Cody did a wonderful job with our old doors/systems. Cody was very professional and knowledgeable. Answered all of our questions and explained what he did for us. He also explained with the age of our door motors they are working on borrowed time, so we are looking to replace them in the spring. Our garage door was not staying closed. We checked all the usual things on our own, and it didn't solve the problem, so we decided we needed an expert. After a Google search, we called Precision Garage Door Service, which had great reviews. They sent someone out within just a few hours, which was amazing! Cody arrived at our home and quickly identified the problem. He clearly explained what the issues were and presented us with several options for fixing it. We made our decision, and he installed a new garage door opener, springs, rollers, and wall control unit. We had a smooth (and oh so QUIET) functioning garage door in no time! He even installed a keypad outside our garage, so we can open the garage that way, which is a huge convenience for our kiddo to get in the house after school. He helped us install the app to use for the door as well, which notifies me anytime the door is opened or closed, or if someone is detected in the garage. The new opener even has a camera on it and shows me footage of any garage activity on the app. I felt like a kid at Christmas time after Cody left! I never knew a garage door could bring me so much joy, but I am absolutely in love with the door now. I look forward to going out in my car now just so I can operate the garage door, LOL! When it's time to replace our other garage door opener, we'll definitely be using Precision again. The entire experience from the first phone call to the completion of the repair was fantastic! I highly recommend them.
