Precision responded to our emergency request that we made after hours on Friday evening. They scheduled a technician to evaluate the garage door Saturday late morning. Their Customer Service is fantastic. From scheduling to the technician to the supervisor. I was able to get on the schedule the following afternoon, the technician (Henry) called multiple times to keep me updated on his arrival, very considerate of my time. The unit is only a year and a half old, and he quickly troubleshot the issue to the control board not providing power to the safety eyes. Neither part (control board or safety-eye sensors) is covered by the lifetime warranty (motor and belt only). However, he worked with his supervisor Chip and they were generous enough to cover the panel (which only has a 1-year warranty from the manufacturer). I ended up paying for the service call only ($79) not for labor or a new control board, which was very much appreciated. This kind of customer service is why I pay the service fee and stay with this company. I've had 3 technicians provide service over the last year and a half and they are all superb. Thanks, Precision Garage Door!
