Ed Hesling, a south east PA native who grew up in a large blue collar family, got his start by watching his father Ed Hesling Sr work extremely hard in the oil industry in both Marcus Hook PA, and Delaware City, DE. Ed furthered his father’s legacy of family values and impeccable work ethics when he joined the Precision Door Service company in 2013. From installing doors to running emergency calls at two in the morning, Ed values the peace of mind of each and every customer’s garage door needs as if they were each one of his own loved ones. As a tradesman, Ed has seen and done it all. Now as a proud co-owner of Precision Door Service of central Pennsylvania, Ed focuses on bringing industry leading quality service to the homes of every resident in our network. Ed is confident that the superior quality office support, quick and efficient installments, and thorough service repair work cannot be matched anywhere else. Ed loves and encourages hearing feedback from all of his customers as he is constantly looking to grow and improve the home service industry. As Ed himself puts it, “My philosophy is that if you are not growing, you are dying. Eddie was able to arrive earlier than expected due to his astute adjustment in the appt time. Within a minute he quickly diagnosed one issue as I returned to explain another issue. The two issues were promptly corrected. Eddie was professional, capable, and personable. After completely the adjustments, the door operated perfectly and to my complete satisfaction.

Eddie showed up at the time promised. He quickly found the problem with my garage door and fixed it. So quick, he didn't have time to turn his truck off. He practiced all the COVID-19 safeguards that were mentioned on your phone call. Eddie didn't charge me anything to repair my garage door, which I really appreciate. I would recommend Precision Garage Door to anyone that needs repair or replacement of their garage door.

I made an appointment at 11pm via online chat, and Ed Hesling showed up right on time the next day! He was very professional, maintaining social distance and wore a mask. Estimate was given and I accepted and gave a deposit. I did forget to mention the $15 off repairs coupon, so I am in the doghouse with my wife!

Eddie came to my home to give me an estimate for new garage doors and openers - he was prompt, courteous and very helpful. He reviewed several options, pointed out some problems, explained the repairs necessary, and was respectful of my budget. The work has been scheduled, and so far, I am very pleased with their service.

Our garage door broke at 4:30 PM on a Wednesday. I was able to call and schedule an appointment with a service tech for the very next morning. Eddie showed up right on time and was super friendly and polite. He did a complete inspection of our door, explained all the issues and then gave us three repair options. Expecting to have to go a few days with the door not working, we were blown away when Eddie told us he could install a new motor and replace the other necessary parts during this same visit as all the required parts were already in his truck. He did so and we had a workable garage door by noon. The door is now quiet and works so much better.

I cannot say enough good things about Eddie Hesling. I originally just wanted to replace the backup battery in my Craftsman opener. However, I also pointed out to Eddie that the door was rattling, and while he was here the opener made a horrible grinding noise while opening. Eddie assured me that part of his job was to inspect the entire system. After he did, he showed me that the spring had been installed incorrectly last fall (by another company) and that the motor gears on my 5-year old opener were grinding. He gave me several options to choose from, but I elected to replace the entire opener and spring with some new parts on the door itself. I truly didn't realize how bad my door opener was until Eddie finished the install today. It is so quiet and smooth running. I am so pleased and feel confident that I have found an excellent company with incredible service and I will contract with them for additional work in the future. And by the way, Eddie is a lovely young man and really knows what he is about.

Contacted Precision thru Home Adviser. Response for service request was very quick and an appointment at my convenience was made for the next day. The technician, Eddie, that was dispatched was very personable, professional, an obviously knew his business. Eddie performed a safety check, identified my problem and repaired it quickly. He also provided some suggestions for my consideration for future maintenance. All in all, I would highly recommend this company.

On July 28, 2021 we had our new garage doors installed by Cody. He fixed everything that I wanted to fix. Cody did a great job, on time, polite, knowledgeable and explained everything he did when finished. We were really please with Cody's work and we think he deserves a raise.
